n Mar 1, 2011in this video they are talking in about mean which is easy and if you have a lot of numbers what you do. Is sometimes rewrite them from least to greastest and then cross them out which sometimes you dont have to if you just count all the numbers .Then its the one in the middle. If its more then one number add the two numbers together and then divid by 2 and what ever the number is that is your mean and in the other video its about mean meadian and mode .What i learned about mean is that all you are doing is rewriting the numbers from least to greatest and marking them out and if its more then one divid it buy 2.


These are videos on mode and the mode is which is the number you most often see . like for ex.1,2,4,6,7,8,9,1,1,2,3,4,4,5,6,7,8,90,1and the mode is 1 because you have 1the most . Its easy just rewrite them from least to greastest and then after that the number that you have the most well thats the mode easy .What i learned about mode is its the number in your number line you see the most can it be more then one mode yes it can and if it is write down the numbers and it will just be 2modes.


These videos is about median and range to but its okay because range is not something im talking about right now .Then median is where you add all the numbers up all together and then divide by how many numbers it is . Which should be easy because you can add the numbers together.For example 4,3,5,6,7,8,9,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8. But before you do that you have to rewrite them in oder form least to greastest so it would be 1,2,3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7,8,8,9 and add those numbers up and it is 78 and 78 /15=5.2 and 5.2 is the median .What i learned about Median is that all you have to do is rewrite then numbers frm least to greastest andt then add them all up together then divid but hwo ever many numbers it is .

Standard Deviation is confusing to me it just looks like alot of numbers . But the videos explan it well. Because if you have these numbers for example 2,1,0,1,2/g thats 6/5 which is 1.2. The fomula is exi/n which is s=the square root check Ex2-(ex2)/n/n-1. its confusing but if you watch the video it will explan it i had just put that as an example.What i learned about standard deviation is that it is hard for me and easy at the same time.


outlier is a value that lies outside most of the other values in set of data. In these videos i learn that the first number and the last number are the outlers . for example -1,23,45,13,45,56,78,90,110 .And 1 and 110 is the outler numbers .What i learned is that the ouler is the first and last numbers .

a Quartiles is a value that divids a list of numbers into quarters . Fist put the list of numbers in oder .Then cut the list into four eaual parts .And then you will find the quartiles in the middle.for example 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 the median is 5 and the lower quartile is 2 and the upper quartile is 8 .

a histogram is a grap that displays data using bars of different heights. For example you have (1,4)(3,5)(4,6)(5,7) .You would graph them and they would all be in different places right ?? Yes they would be .What i have learned about histograms are that they are graphs that have different numbers .And bars that are differnt to .

A graph of plotted points that show the relationship between two sets of data.A scatter plot is just 2 sets of data on one graph for easyer terms .What i learned from scatter plots is your graphing your numbers thats it and it sets of data on one graph. Which can be confusing but you just have to pay attention to what you are doing but its really easy to do as long as you know how to graph.
