You learn that when you are trying to find to mean of a set of data, you add all the numbers up and then divide them by how ever many numbers there are in the set. You learn that if you are trying to find to median of a set of dat, you put all the numbers in order and then you take away numbers one by one until you get to the middle number. Lastly, you will learn that if you are trying to find the mode in a set of data, you just simply look for the most occuring number.




These two videos are also very good at teaching everyone who watches it how to find the mean, median, and mode in a set of data. The major difference in these videos is that they teach you the informtion using music! One of the videos teach you how to find the mean, median, and mode of a set of data by connecting with us by rapping. The other video on the other hand, teaches you these thing through singing! They both have similar teaching styles, but they are just opposites in the music business, so depending on the kind of music you like to listen to, you will like one of the videos over the other.



These two videos teach you exactly what standard deviation is and how to find it. I chose these videos because to be honest, I didn't really know what standard deviation was until I watched these videos. I learned that standard deviation is a quantity calculated to indicate the extent of deviation for a group as a whole. Im other words, the stardard deviation of a set of data is two numbers that the rest of the data would normally fit in between. These videos are a little bit longer than the other videos but they are so detailed that there is no way that they wouldn't be this long.



These two videos teach the viewers how to find the outliers in a set of data. I picked these videos because the people in them are very easy to understand and explain things to were everyone would be able to understand them. In these videos, you learn that the outlier in a set of data is the number that is either way higher or way lower than the majority of the rest of the numbers. For example; in a set of data like: 79,80,80,81,83,85, and 100, 100 would be the outlier because it is much greater than even the highest number in the set of data.



These two videos are about quartiles. These videos teach you how to find the 1st and 3rd quartile from a written set of data. The videos show you step-by-step how to find the 1st and 3rd quartile. First you arrange your data into ascending order. Secondly, you find the median of the set of data. Then, to find the 1st quartile, you find the median of the bottom half of the data. and to find the 3rd quartile, you find the median of the upper half of the set of data. And there you have your quartiles.



I choses to find videos about box and whisker plots. These videos explain what a box and whisker plot is and how they should look. Watching this video, you will learn that when you have the median, 1st quartile, minimum, 3rd quartile, and the maximum of a set of data, you can turn that data into a box and whisker plot. You learn that in order to make a box and whisker plot, you draw a number line and then you make marks above the number that the specific data piece matches and you simply do that for every number you have in your data. Then you connect the middle three numbers by drawing a box around them, and then just draw a line to conect the outer two numbers with a horizontal line, and there you have a box and whisker plot.
